Suitable for ages 4 and up!
Maximum enrollment: 10 children (limited tickets). This event will quickly sell out!
Enjoy an art class from the comfort of your home with child development and early education professional, Cali Adams. This class was created in mind to include easy-to-find materials that most likely are lying around your home or yard. Cali will discuss plants used in this project for kids to better appreciate their local environment.
Some easy to find plant materials for this virtual class that ticket holders are encouraged to collect ahead of time are (any listed will do): leaves (a mix of fresh and dried), flowers (different shapes and sizes, smaller sizes), fern leaves, (invasive, good way to get rid of and repurpose). We encourage a mix of available plants for color and contrast. We will discuss the various kinds of plants and parts that are used in the class, also!
7 days prior to the class, you will receive instructions via email with:
a simple supply list
a simple plant list
an easy preparation list for the class
cleanup and next steps
Should you purchase a ticket within 7 days of the event, you will be emailed with the instruction sheet the same day.
The class will be a little over an hour. Your finished product will need time to dry after which your kids can enjoy it for many months to come. The Zoom class is tailored for kids that are seeking a fun nature craft project to do at home. Make memories with your child in this fun, easy online craft experience!
