The workers were really nice so this review has nothing to do with the service I received. $780 for a couple massage is insane. I will admit it’s my fault for booking the Valmont when I knew the price would be $650 for 90mins, but it was the only online booking I could find last minute. I probably would say that the experience was worth $200-300 but definitely not $780. Usually spas will give you a little pamphlet thing to fill out that lets you select what you want them to focus on and what you’d like them to avoid, but there was like no intro other than getting walked to the 18th floor. My fiancée really enjoyed his massage therapist, but mine seemed like she was just winging it doing whatever felt right and the moves felt random like there was no plan/flow. For $780 I’d expect them to at least have experienced massage therapists. I was surprised to see tip was charged automatically before even asking how the experience was. I’m blessed to have travel a lot to have other spas to compare this to. After all, I was just in search of a spa that offered a 90min massage, and allowed me to shower before my flight, so for that purpose I’d give it 5 stars, but for the price compared to experience, it wasn’t like it was a glamours experience or anything it was just a normal spa with insane pricing.

I recently booked a 90-minute massage here and unfortunately the overall experience didn’t justify the price. First, the pricing is quite misleading. The website lists the treatment price, but in very small print it mentions that a 20% service charge is automatically added. On top of that, there is still an expectation to leave a tip, which makes the final bill significantly higher than the advertised price. My 90-minute massage ended up costing around $500, which felt excessive for what was offered. The layout is also unusual. The reception is located in a different building from the treatment rooms, so you have to walk through reception in a bathrobe, take an elevator, and then go to the spa area. The spa itself feels more like an apartment converted into treatment rooms rather than a proper spa facility. The relaxation area had only three small couches, which didn’t create a particularly calming or luxurious atmosphere. The therapist herself was good and the massage was professionally done. However, when considering the overall experience, environment, and the final price, it simply didn’t feel worth the amount charged.
