Rooms were small, would not recommend for a long stay. They were clean and the ac was comfortable, which is rare. Staff was very nice. Loved the little plastic bag with a handle labeled ice. Food at Serene was delicious. And the drinks were spot on. The lobby was uncomfortable, like the ac was barely on so sitting at the lobby bar was hot and muggy to me. Great place for a weekend very close to the beach.
Excellent stay at Moxy South Beach! I just got back from a wonderful 3-night stay at this hotel and had a great experience. The location is perfect, it is incredibly close to Ocean Drive but still manages to be quiet and peaceful. A huge shoutout to the amazing front desk staff who were always kind, helpful, and accommodating to every question or request. Special thanks to Wyman, Rassoul, and Michaela, who welcomed me with a big smile! The pools are excellent, and while the rooms are a bit small, that is the hotel's concept and they have absolutely everything you need. I stayed in room 202. Occasionally, there was a bit of noise from the nearby gym entrance, specifically from the door constantly opening and closing rather than the people themselves, but it wasn't a major issue. The only real point for improvement is the AC, it was strange that the temperature couldn't be adjusted directly from the room and required a request to the front desk. Other than that, great vibe, it was a fantastic experience for anyone looking to stay in South Beach for a fair price. Highly recommended!
I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Moxy South Beach Miami! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant, stylish, and welcoming. The hotel is perfectly located, with easy access to the beach, great restaurants, and all the excitement of South Beach. What truly made my experience exceptional was the outstanding service. A special thank you to especially Rassoul and Stacy, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine attention to detail made me feel valued as a guest. They were always ready to help with a smile and provided excellent recommendations and assistance throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern, and the hotel’s amenities were excellent. Whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying the lively atmosphere, every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Moxy South Beach to anyone visiting Miami. Thanks again to Rassoul and Stacy for making my trip so special—I look forward to returning
Wymon was absolutely amazing! He was super personable, quick, and efficient. He got us a room on the highest floor without even being prompted. From the attention that he took, it was evident that he goes above and beyond for his guests. It’s such a great feeling to receive wonderful service from someone who is genuinely invested not only in doing a good job but also making sure you have the best experience possible. Aside from the stellar customer service (shoutout to Hope as well) the rooms and aesthetic were on point; so chic and modern. Love the numerous options for restaurants and the fitness center had just what you needed to get a fast and furious work out in.
I have stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was amazing we had a great time and were able to use the amenities and it is in easy walking Distance to the beach and the strip. The last time we stayed ,which was just a few days ago, we were very disappointed. The entire reason we stay here was for the rooftop access as the rooms are small and not comfortable to stay in if you have more than 2 people. However, We love sitting up on the rooftop when the sun sets, Watching the cruise ships come and enjoying a couple drinks. Both nights we were there they had private events from 5 to 9 pm which are not only the best times to have access to the roof but also the open bar times. Maybe it’s my opinion but if you say you have a roof top area as a part of your amenities, it should not be closed off to your guests who came there for those amenities. I understand making money, but sounds a little like double dipping and making your guests very unhappy. The first night we went up shortly after we were told the rooftop would Open back up but the bar was closed. The did get us a drink because they clearly saw we were upset but it did not make up for not having access 2 nights in a row. Not sure we will be staying again . There are far more Marriott for the same price in that area that are much more Comfortable and have more room. We also just felt the overall vibe was not like it was the last time
