I stayed here with my mom and sister for 2 nights. This was my fifth time in Miami and I will only stay at the Local House from now on. The hotel staff made the experience perfect. The room was clean and had everything we needed. When we arrived, we couldn't check in yet and I had some bridal decorations I wanted to put up for my sister in our room. The employee who checked us in, Abner, offered to put the decorations up for me and he did a perfect job. When we needed extra sheets and towels that was not a problem. On the last day my flight was delayed and they kindly gave me a later checkout. Not only a great place to stay, but great people! Thank you Local House for such a wonderful short stay!

The rooms are bright, airy, and beautifully designed, with a calming beach‑house vibe that instantly puts you in vacation mode. Thoughtful details—plush bedding, spacious layouts, and serene color palettes—make it easy to unwind after a day in the sun. Many big hotels in Miami feel busy and loud, but The Local House offers something rare: peace. The rooftop pool is a standout. It’s intimate, quiet, and offers a perfect escape from the bustle of South Beach. Whether you’re lounging with a book or enjoying the skyline views, it feels like your own private oasis. And the restaurant—wow. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Breakfast here is a must; the kind of meal that sets the tone for a perfect day. The cocktails are equally impressive, crafted with care and ideal for sipping on the terrace. Best of all, the location couldn’t be better. Steps from the beach, close to great dining and nightlife, yet tucked away enough to feel secluded. It’s the perfect balance.
Lovely place to stay in Miami Beach! Perfect location, close to the beach and restaurants, but still quiet enough. Lovely pool on the rooftop. Breakfast is delicious. Staff is very helpful. I definitely recommend this place!
A great hip spot in a surprisingly relaxing g part of South Miami Beach. For couples a great place to stay. Very accommodating staff , super friendly. The rooftop pool kept very clean and the always smell of clean in tge rooms give peace knowing they are on top of keeping it right. Love the restaurant too which is in need of its own praise to which confirms one of best places there to eat at.
The Local House was outstanding! Just a half block from the beach, the rooms are beautiful and very clean. The rooftop is gorgeous and very relaxing. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Our flight was later in the day and they offered us a space to store our luggage and let us utilize the rooftop during the afternoon. The food is also delicious and on point for pricing with other restaurants on ocean drive. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to South Beach Miami. The atmosphere was calm, relaxing, and serene.
