I came for the day to visit the spa. Had a wonderful experience was forced to valet. My car would get a reduced reduction on price if I returned or left by five hours I called for my car five minutes after the five hour mark went to walk and get to my car 15 minutes after the five hour mark and they charged me $80 I spoke with the manager Shakira I believe was her name who was very rude dismissive and frankly getting Care shrugged her shoulders, spoke into her breath and brushed me off. I paid my $80 no big deal really took me back was her attitude her lack of wanting to hear and then I waited 35 minutes additionally, to actually get my vehicle highly disappointed with the service of the valley manager. It's very unfortunate at the hotel is wonderful. The staff in the hotel was great. The spa was fantastic and the valley manager is an unprofessional. . My brothers room didn’t have the right sheets on the bed upon arrival but we got in late so he had to sleep on them. There was hair in his shower so he had to clean the base with a rag himself so he could shower before bed. They came up the next day and cleaned it and still left hair on the walls. We had to have them come back again and stand there with them to ensure it was cleaned properly. We also bought tickets to LIV. $900. The whole reason we were staying there. They didn’t email them properly and weren’t much help getting them to us. Liv said I had to talk to universe because they are the third party that emails the tickets when you buy them from the fountain’s site under the night club liv. Universe told us to talk to Liv. The fountain said that liv is separate in that instance. So people just passed the buck until we gave up and went back to our rooms. It was ok. Not what we were hoping for when we paid the “5 Star” price.

It most certainly has it's own history and vibe. All the restaurants that we tried were top notch and the service was amazing. The pool is the perfect temperature, pool service is absolutely amazing and the area is kept very clean. The beach access is convenient and we'll maintained. The rooms were not what I would have expected for a resort of this caliber. It was plain and to be fair, we stayed in a room called Run of the Mill so my expectations were set accordingly. That being said, the room was definitely showing it's age. The bathroom marble needs some upkeep, the baseboards were cracking and had dust on them. These are just small things that you wouldn't expect to see or experience in a place like this. I am including a picture of the view from our room. I don't want to be picky about it but we most certainly kept the curtains closed. Other than the room being just ok, everything else was very nice.

We've stayed here 3x (3 years in a row) and have always had a great experience. A few tips: 1) when it's super busy, staff is slower. This is true EVERYWHERE unless you stay at the Ritz or St. Regis. So manage your expectations accordingly. 2) For lunch by the pool HIGHLY recommend La Cóte, fantastic and consistent. 3) Go from breakfast directly to the pool to secure your lounge chairs, when it's busy the best ones get occupied quickly. 4) when in doubt you're in Miami, quick uber rides to where ever you want to go or get deliveries. My only complaint is that uber isn't consistent to where it goes to drop off your food, but this has little to do with the hotel. Service has always been great, one year I left my Wallet in the safe by accident. They Fed Ex'd it to me, not a single thing was missing. I'll be headed back again, hopefully. Soon.

We stayed in the Junior Suite and everything was fantastic. The bar sound system? Elite. The vibes? Immaculate. The staff? Genuinely awesome. We did drinks at the beach, drinks at the pool bar… dinner on site. Everything was just great! This place is massive. I’m pretty sure we walked 10,000+ steps and still didn’t see everything. The only thing missing? Casino tables and slot machines. Lol - At that point, I may have never left. What an establishment. So much to offer and we didn’t even scratch the surface. We’ll definitely be back!
