The hotel is very nice. Great location. Comfortable beds. Rooms could use an update though. They felt dated and sometimes smelled a bit humid.
Had a good stay overall. Check in was probably the fastest hotel check in I’ve ever had, and we also appreciated being able to check in early since they had availability. The point redemption was a great value as well. We stayed in room 543, which was very spacious. The room could use a little updating, but the extra space was nice. The location was great and less than a five minute walk to Miracle Mile, which made it easy to get around. Overall, a positive stay and would consider staying again.
The hotel is located in one of Miami’s iconic districts, Coral Gables. It is not far from the airport, approximately one to one and a half hours away by taxi or Uber, depending on traffic conditions. The Coral Gables area is easily walkable from the hotel, and the property is also conveniently located near several public transport hubs. Multiple stops of Miami’s well-known Trolley lines are nearby, which are especially popular among tourists. These trolley services are free of charge and connect several parts of the city. The hotel room itself was very good. Unfortunately, we received a north-facing room, so it never really got direct sunlight. However, because we are members, we received an upgraded and larger room with a pleasant view overlooking the pool area. The pool temperature was good, the room was clean and tidy, and the staff were professional, pleasant, and friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast was very expensive — around 80 dollars for two people. Therefore, if someone does not wish to pay this amount, there are several excellent breakfast places in the neighbouring restaurants for approximately half that price. On the other hand, it is also possible to order individually from the breakfast menu. The 80-dollar option referred to the full breakfast package, where you could eat and drink freely and also order items from the menu. Ordering separately from the menu is charged according to the individual menu prices. Overall, I can recommend this hotel both to tourists and to business travellers visiting Miami.
Claude told me this was the perfect choice for a non-airport hotel that was not so far from the airport when I had an unexpected layover... to which I say "you're absolutely right!" This property is a real gem in a sea of mediocrity that many Miami hotels (especially at this price point) often deliver. Checked in late after a long travel day.. front desk was very friendly. Needed a meal and the bar was still open serving a full menu. Quality food and cocktails delivered exactly what we needed. Room was spacious and quiet, bed was comfy, shower was proper lux style without the ugly America bathtub. Coffee shop on-site was a nice touch, but I'd prefer they make proper espresso instead of using a lounge machine. Highly recommend this property! (PS it's right in Coral Gables with tons of stuff to walk to which would be amazing if we were there for any amount of time)
This hotel is very nice and comfortable. Their pillows (four per queen/king bed) vary in terms of firmness. Some are softer than others. The shower had great hot water along with ample amount of volume. I found it creative with the mattress lighting up at the bottom if you walk near it. In addition Pedro, a desk employee, gave me two complimentary bottles of water, which is excellent customer service. I would say the only cons are the lack of free parking and lack of free breakfast. It is also fortunate I came as part of a work conference.
