The pool and bar area at The Shelborne By Proper are outstanding. Temperature controlled water with a large pool, diving platform and comfortable seating around the pool. There and other areas in foliage to relax and read a book. Poolside cabanas with dedicated service are also available. On my visit to the hotel, this became crowded around mid morning. There is an outdoor bar and seating. I stopped by for lunch one day and had the cod fritters and fruit plate. Excellent! Sandwiches, tacos, fruit platters, ceviches and salads are all available. An extensive drink menu is available. If you get the chance, you should stop on by. But wear sunscreen!
