The hotel itself is fine however an additional charge of $54 was added to my card after I checked out. When I noticed on my credit card statement, I called the hotel and was told it was probably a meal charge. I told them I never ate once at hotel! She said she would have manager reverse the charge. 2 weeks passed and no refund. When I called back I got a different person who told me the charge was for incidentals and would automatically be put back on my card. We’re now 3 weeks after the fact and nothing has been refunded to my card. I should note, the day I was checking out the person in line in front of me was reporting having the SAME issue the last time he stayed at this hotel and didn’t want to give front desk his card to have on file because the last time he stayed this hotel the hotel took a card for “incidentals” which they said was just an authorization but the hotel had scammed him too and charged the amount and never refunded it to him. So I am not only one and clearly this hotel is running some kind of scam. Beware.
Sergio, thank you so much for going above and beyond for me! I’m a young female in an unfamiliar city by myself and I was stressed out trying to find somewhere to stay. I ran into unfortunate situation where I had to find a place to stay quick. I’ve only been checked in 15 min but I’m in my room crying bc I’m so grateful. I was stressed! The hotel was booked but you went out your way to help me. The room is clean and I got lucky to have the pool view. Thank you so much!!!
Wonderful hotel. Ernesto the bartender at Ventanas on the second floor was incredible. Great drinks, excellent service and conversation. This is a real bartender with high quality drinks, ingredients and attention to detail. A must try. The rooms are nice and new. Service is well done at the moment if check-in.
The rooms are very small for the price. And the air conditioner was not working properly, they never sent anyone up to check just offered extra blankets or told us to turn the air conditioning off. We turned it off and the room temperature was never comfortable. Very disappointed in how they handled it. Other than that the pool was small but nice and the location is fantastic. Not sure i would stay there again due to the climate problems and how they weren't habdled.
I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Coral Gables for 2 nights before our cruise and then 1 night after our cruise. Our flight landed at 11pm so we didn't get to the hotel until about 12am. I had alerted them in the Marriott app prior and they were very accommodating about it. Night staff that checked us in were very nice and friendly. The room was clean, if a bit small. I did not think it was odd that they only had double beds if you wanted two beds. We made due. The bathroom is very big and I appreciated the walk in shower. I despise tubs. Beds were comfortable, if again, a little small. When we checked back in for our last night, it was about 11am and our room was not ready yet. No problem, they took our bags and it was ready at around 2pm. We did have breakfast the next morning and it was pretty basic, hotel breakfast with a few hot items and a fruit bar. All in all, very little / no complaints here!
